COVID-19
The latest guidance issued in England relates only to the NHS. Whilst this does not mean that those working in private practice need not consider the pandemic, it does mean that we can use our own judgement and risk assessments to decide how best to deliver a safe service.
Please be assured that a clean environment and safe service continues to be a priority.
I am pleased to confirm that I have received both doses and boosters of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Face to face appointments are fully available, however it is important to help you without risking your health. Therefore if you have any queries regarding arranging an appointment, please get in touch.
WHEN ATTENDING AN APPOINTMENT
- Please try to attend the appointment alone as the treatment space is not overly large.
- As there is no waiting room, please wait in your car and I will collect you at your appointment time.
- Please try to plan ahead as toilet facilities are unavailable.
- Please feel free to wear a face covering during your appointment if this is your preference. However, this is NOT compulsory and your choice to wear a mask or not will be fully respected.
- I may wear PPE (personal protective equipment), particularly during the physical examination and any treatment. This can include a face mask, +/- gloves and +/- apron. Please feel free to tell me if you would prefer that I routinely wear PPE.
- Where appropriate, windows will be opened to provide fresh air ventilation.
- There are gaps between clients to allow for ventilation of the treatment room and thorough cleaning.
FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IF:
- You feel generally unwell, you have any symptoms of COVID-19, you suspect that you have COVID-19 or if COVID-19 has been confirmed.
